  • Community Health Worker-Butler-Morrisania/Claremont Community (DV)

    Title:  Community Health Worker 

    Salary:  $50,000 per year (35 hours per week)

    Basic Job Summary:  Community Health Workers help people with chronic disease to understand and succeed at self-management and prevention.

    Qualification:

    • Experience in community health or community work (including as a volunteer), enjoy working with people
    • Seeking residents from the Butler Houses or the Morrisania/Claremont Community
    • Knowledge of local needs and community services
    • Enthusiasm for community work, health and learning is most important
    • High school diploma, or college helpful but not required
