Title: Community Health Worker
Salary: $50,000 per year (35 hours per week)
Basic Job Summary: Community Health Workers help people with chronic disease to understand and succeed at self-management and prevention.
Qualification:
- Experience in community health or community work (including as a volunteer), enjoy working with people
- Seeking residents from the Butler Houses or the Morrisania/Claremont Community
- Knowledge of local needs and community services
- Enthusiasm for community work, health and learning is most important
- High school diploma, or college helpful but not required
