Visit Your Local Jobs-Plus to Take the NRTA Assessment Exam
The NYCHA Resident Training Academy (NRTA) is hosting in-person NRTA Assessment Sessions at various Jobs-Plus sites across the city. Exclusive to NYCHA residents, the NRTA is currently recruiting for two training tracks: Pest Control and Janitorial.
Through the Pest Control track, residents can join the Pest Control industry after receiving three weeks of full-time remote and in-person training and earning industry certifications. The Pest Control training prepares residents for the NYS Pesticide Certification exam (7a) to launch a Pest Control career. Alternatively, residents can start a career at NYCHA as a Caretaker J, after successful completion of 3-week in-person full-time Janitorial training.
