NYCHA Residents, ages 18 years and older, Join the Rockaway Development & Revitalization Corporation (RDRC) for a virtual information session to learn about their upcoming training opportunities designed to build your career and expand your credentials. Rockaway Development & Revitalization Corporation representatives will provide an overview about the following classes and the application process to join a scheduled class beginning in September.

Employability Skills Training: Gain job-readiness skills, interview strategies, and resume enhancement tools to stand out to local employers.

NRF Online Course: Learn about our National Retail Federation (NRF) credentialing program, offering industry-recognized online certification to boost your resume and retail customer service expertise.

Location:  Virtual meeting (please RVSP to receive a virtual meeting link)

How to RSVP:

Follow these steps to register for this event in Opportunity Connect on the NYCHA self-service portal:

1. Register for online access and/or log in to the NYCHA self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/
2. Once you are logged in, click on “Manage Your Account.”
3. Click on the “Opportunity Connect” icon.
4. Go to “Upcoming Events” on the left menu.
5. Select RDRC 9-4-2026 on the list of upcoming events and click on “view details”.
6. You must read and confirm the “Information Sharing and Consent Statement” to continue to the final RSVP step.
7. Click “RSVP”.

Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Note: In Opportunity Connect you can check “My Events” on the left menu at any time to see all your scheduled events. You can also cancel or reschedule.
