Explore our offerings, including Patient Care Technician (PCT), Doula, Security Guard Training, and Electric Vehicle Charger Technician. Bronx Education Opportunity Center (Bx EOC) is recruiting NYCHA residents for the following programs:

• Patient Care Technician (PCT)
• Security Guard Training
• Doula
• Electric Vehicle Charger Technician

Enrollment Requirements:

• High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma for Vocational Training Programs
• Must take TABE test
• 18 years of age or older
• NOT a college graduate
• US citizen, Permanent Resident or Refugee
• New York State Resident for a year (prior to enrollment)
• Meet low-income guidelines

Steps to Register in NYCHA Self Service

Follow these steps to register for this event in the NYCHA self-service portal – https://selfserve.nycha.info/

1. Register for online access and/or log-in to the NYCHA self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/
2. Once you are logged in, click “Manage Your Account.”
3. Click “Opportunity Connect” icon.
4. Go to “Upcoming Events” on the left menu.
5. Select Bronx Educational Opportunity Center 11-13-2026 on the list of upcoming events and click “view details“
6. You must read and confirm the “Information Sharing and Consent Statement” to continue to the final RSVP step.
7. Click “RSVP.“

Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Note: In Opportunity Connect you can check “My Events” on the left menu at any time to see all your scheduled events. You can also cancel or reschedule.
