Opportunities for a Better Tomorrow (OBT) is recruiting NYCHA youth ages 17-24 for its young adult programs (see below), which offer college access and job placement assistance upon completion.

  • Youth Education and Job Training: Earn your High School Equivalency Diploma in 20 weeks or less, National Retail Federation Customer Service Certification, and Microsoft (MS) Office Specialist Certification.
  • Young Adult Internship Program: Earn $3,050 in 14 weeks with a paid internship at local businesses, law firms, large corporations, nonprofit organizations, or government agencies. Includes job training and the opportunity to get customer service and MS Office certifications.
  • Medical Administrative Assistant: Earn Medical Administrative Assistant Certification and learn everything you need to launch your career.
