HOPE & NYCHA REES are holding a virtual information session on Wednesday March 29th from 3PM-4PM

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, legally allowed to work in the US, available Monday through Friday 9-5, and looking for employment.

We are currently recruiting for three programs:

Intervine

 Intervine is a 10-week paid transitional employment program that provides job opportunities in the green infrastructure, construction, horticultural, and clean energy sectors. Participants receive HOPE’s full range of services, including 8 industry certifications, job placement, job retention, and life-long career support.

NYC CoolRoofs

NYC CoolRoofs is a 10-11 weeks of full-time, paid work experience installing energy saving reflective rooftops at a starting wage of $15 per hour. Participants have the opportunity to earn credentials in the construction sector, including OSHA 30 Site Safety Training Card (SST), 4-Hour Flagger, 4-Hour Scaffold User, and CPR/First Aid certifications at no cost. Graduates receive ongoing career and job connection support for the construction sector

YouthBuild

YouthBuild is a 26-week internationally-recognized training program for young New Yorkers, ages 18-24, that provides in-demand job skills, High School Equivalency prep, leadership opportunities, construction training, and up to $3,000 in stipends. Participants gain industry certifications and hands-on experience while making NYC more sustainable.

  1. Register for online access & log-in to self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/which will allow you to manage your own events.
  2. Once you are logged in, Click “View Details.”
  3. Click “Opportunity Connect” on the bottom left side.
  4. Click “Upcoming Events”on the left side.
  5. Select “Query.”
  6. Go to the “Event Name” column.
  7. Type exactly as shown here (case sensitive):   The Hope Program Brooklyn 3-29-2023
  8. Press Enter.
  9. Click “View Details.“
  10. Click “RSVP.“
  11. Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Check “My Events” to see all of your scheduled events.
