Build Your Career with the HOPE Program

We are currently recruiting for HOPEworks in the Brooklyn 

HOPEworks Brooklyn

HOPEworks offers seven-week, in-depth job readiness and workforce skills training that pays $50 weekly stipends and connects you to countless job leads.

• Five (5) weeks of in-depth FULL-TIME job readiness and essential workforce skills training
• Support to boost your job search confidence
• Guidance to develop a well-polished resume, cover letter and interviewing game plan
• Training in green construction, building operations, maintenance, and horticulture.
• $50 weekly stipend
• Countless job leads PLUS Expedited Job Placement Assistance into full-time employment

Eligibility Requirements

• Be least 18 years old
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Available full-time, Monday – Friday, 9-5, for 5 weeks
• Eager to secure full-time employment in New York City

HOPEworks applicants may reside within the five boroughs of NYC or Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester Counties. No diploma or high school equivalency is required.

Those who RSVP will receive an email notification with meeting information prior to the event.

Confirm that your email and telephone number is correct in the NYCHA Self-Service portal to receive event notifications.

Follow these steps to register for this event in Opportunity Connect on the NYCHA self-service portal:

1.           Register for online access and/or log in to the NYCHA self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/ 

2.           Once you are logged in, click on “Manage Your Account.”

3.           Click on the “Opportunity Connect” icon.

4.           Go to “Upcoming Events” on the left menu.

5.           Select The Hope Program Brooklyn 9-12-2025 on the list of upcoming events and click on “view details”.  

6.           You must read and confirm the “Information Sharing and Consent Statement” to continue to the final RSVP step.

7.           Click “RSVP”.

 Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Note: In Opportunity Connect you can check “My Events” on the left menu at any time to see all your scheduled events. You can also cancel or reschedule.
