Interested in learning more about this emerging role in healthcare?

Staten Island Performing Provider System has launched a partnership with The College of Staten Island and NYCHA to offer free CHW training for NYCHA residents.

To qualify applicants must be:

  • A NYCHA resident from the following developments:
    • STAPLETON
    • WEST BRIGHTON
    • RICHMOND TERRACE
    • MARINER’S HARBOR
  • Minimum of 18 years of age or older
  • Have a HS or HSE diploma

The CHW certificate training is a 15-week course offered on Saturdays from 9AM – 4PM.

Program includes paid internship component.
