Social Media Marketing Webinar with Small Business Services

This course will teach you how to navigate the modern social media platforms as an entrepreneur. By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Determine the social media platforms that your target customers use
  • Operate these platforms as a business according to best practices
  • Create “repurposed content” that attracts social media users and links them to your website
  • Choose a social media management tool for your business This course is the sixth and final module in the NYC Department of Small Business Services’ (SBS) six-module Digital Marketing series. We encourage you to complete the five prior modules – “Developing a Marketing Strategy,” “Creating Content Your Customers Value,” “Building Your Own Business Website,” “Search Engine Optimization (SEO),” and “Email Marketing” – before you take this course.

HOW TO REGISTER:

Follow these steps to register for this event in the NYCHA self-service portal – https://selfserve.nycha.info/

  1. Register for online access & log-in to self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/ which will allow you to manage your own events.
  2. Once you are logged in, Click “View Details.”
  3. Click “Opportunity Connect” on the bottom left side.
  4. Click “Upcoming Events” on the left side.
  5. Select “Query.”
  6. Go to the “Event Name” column
  7. Type exactly as shown here (case sensitive):  Event Name: SBS Social Media Marketing 3-28-23
  8. Press Enter.
  9. Click “View Details.“
  10. Click “RSVP.“
  11. Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Check “My Events” to see all of your scheduled events.
