Come to a REES Information Session to learn more about how REES can help connect you to resources and opportunities in the areas of employment and advancement, financial literacy and asset building, adult education and job training and resident business development. You will attend a short presentation where you will receive an overview of REES partnerships, which include referrals for employment assistance, registration for temporary employment with Section 3, free job training, GED and ESOL classes, financial counseling, support services for entrepreneurs and appointments to attend the Test of Adult Basic Education (T.A.B.E.), which is the first step in the application process for many of our training opportunities.
To receive services, you must be an authorized NYCHA resident.
Documents Needed for Your Appointment:
- Valid photo ID (examples include: a DMV issued ID/driver’s license or Benefit Card)
To serve you better, you may bring the following documents to your appointment if you have them:
- Résumé
- High School Diploma or GED certificate
- College degree or transcript, educational certificates and/or licenses
- Driver’s license
- Housing Composition Letter
