Are you interested in working for the City of New York? The Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD), in partnership with the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), is hosting a recruitment event exclusively for NYCHA residents. Join us on Tuesday, May 23^’ 2023, at Johnson Houses Community Center, 1833 Lexington Avenue, NY, NY 10029 from 10:00AM to 1:00PM for an opportunity to interview for various Community Associate and Community Coordinator roles.

Steps to Register in NYCHA Self Service

Follow these steps to register for this event in the NYCHA self-service portal – https://selfserve.nycha.info/

1. Register for online access & log-in to self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/which will allow you to manage your own events.
2. Once you are logged in, Click “View Details.”
3. Click “Opportunity Connect” on the bottom left side.
4. Click “Upcoming Events”on the left side.
5. Select “Query.”
6. Go to the “Event Name”  Type exactly as shown here (case sensitive):  HPD 5-23-2023 10am, or HPD 5-23-2023 11am or HPD 5-23-2023 12pm
7. Press Enter.
8. Click “View Details.“
9. Click “RSVP“
10. Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Check “My Events” to see all of your scheduled events.
