Neighborhood Housing Services (NHS) of Brooklyn Homeownership Advisor will guide you through purchasing a home of your own.

  • Individualized Home Buyer Action Plan specific to your needs.
  • Negotiation with the banks to get you pre-approved at the best rate possible.
  • Get you financially ready to buy and see if you qualify for some of the exciting grants available.
  • Connection to the best home purchase & finance incentives available.
  • Debt analysis and repair as needed.
  • NOTE: This seminar is for NYCHA public housing residents or NYCHA Section 8 voucher holders only.

Follow these steps to register for this event in the NYCHA self-service portal – https://selfserve.nycha.info/

  1. Register for online access & log-in to self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/ which will allow you to manage your own events.
  2. Once you are logged in, Click “View Details.”
  3. Click “Opportunity Connect” on the bottom left side.
  4. Click “Upcoming Events” on the left side.
  5. Select “Query.”
  6. Go to the “Event Name” column.
  7. Type exactly as shown here (case sensitive): NHS Brooklyn September 2019
  8. Press Enter.
  9. Click “View Details.“
  10. Click “RSVP.“
  11. Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Check “My Events” to see all of your scheduled events.
