The NYC Tech Talent Pipeline has partnered with The Flatiron School to offer the NYC Web Development Fellowship, a 22-week program designed to train New Yorkers in the skills necessary to kick off careers in web development.
Program Description:
The NYC Web Development Fellowship is a 22-week training program designed to equip New Yorkers with the skills necessary to launch careers in web development.
As part of the City’s Tech Talent Pipeline initiative, the intensive training program is provided free of cost to participants and includes a five-month on-campus training, a 12-week paid internship, and connection to technology jobs paying $65,000 or more.
Since its launch in 2013, the program has provided intensive training free of charge, with 96% of participants from the first cohort earning an average salary of $70,000.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old and a resident of New York City
- Must have their high school diploma or equivalency, and have not received a 4-year college degree
- Have never been employed (full-time or part-time) as a web developer, and currently earns less than $50,000 per year
- Meet all federal selective service requirements (if applicable) and be authorized to work in the United States
