LaGuardia Community College’s “Linking Interests to Careers” Program – Virtual Info Session

The LaGuardia Community College Career Development Center is offering the newly developed “Linking Interests to Career Programs” to Astoria, Ravenswood, and Queensbridge Houses residents.

Online education and training program opportunities include:

  • High School Equivalency Programs
  • English as Second Language Classes
  • Workforce Training Programs
  • Assistance Enrolling in College

Participants may be eligible to receive:

  • Full and/or partial Scholarships for education & training programs
  • Metrocard assistance

Requirements:

  • Exclusive to NYCHA Residents of Astoria, Ravenswood, or Queensbridge Houses
  • All participants will have to complete a Career Assessment, and schedule weekly check-ins with the program counselor

Time:     3:00pm to 4:00pm

Place:    Zoom. Prior to the meeting date, those who RSVP will receive an email with the Zoom information on how to join the virtual meeting via phone or online.
