Kingsborough Community College Workforce Development and Continuing Education Information Session will go over the following Free training programs ,offered for Fall/Winter 2021.

 

DesignWorks: Are you looking for a career where you can be creative and use technology? Check out DesignWorks UX Design Program

 Job Corps Scholars: (For 18-24 Year Old’s) Get free training in Health, Trade or Business, and support entering employment and enrolling into college. Learn more here.

 CUNY Fatherhood Academy: (For 18-30 year old fathers and expectant fathers): Are you a father or expectant father seeking an HSE/TASC (formerly GED) program or college readiness program? Check out CUNY Fatherhood Academy.

 CUNY CCC: Learn about the fundamentals of PC hardware and software and prepare for an entry level position in information Technology in our newest program CUNY Community College Consortium (CUNY CCC) CompTIA Program. 

 SNAP Venture IV Program: Provides free ESL and HSE courses and a range of training and certificate programs to qualifying participants. Check out SNAP Venture IV Program Here

Follow these steps to register for this event in the NYCHA self-service portal – https://selfserve.nycha.info/

  1. Register for online access & log-in to self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/ which will allow you to manage your own events.
  2. Once you are logged in, Click “View Details.”
  3. Click “Opportunity Connect” on the bottom left side.
  4. Click “Upcoming Events” on the left side.
  5. Select “Query.”
  6. Go to the “Event Name” column.
  7. Type exactly as shown here (case sensitive):   KCC 12-15-2021
  8. Press Enter.
  9. Click “View Details.“
  10. Click “RSVP.“
  11. Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Check “My Events” to see all of your scheduled events.
