The Jamaica Workforce 1 Industrial & Transportation Career Center is presenting employment & job training opportunities for NYCHA residents. 

Workforce 1 provides services that will prepare and connect qualified candidates to employment and training opportunities in New York City. 

Candidates who attend this Workforce 1 event will be granted the fast-track privileges to utilize Workforce 1 services and have the opportunity to meet with employers!

Employment Opportunities Include:

• Construction – Skilled labors, Roofing Helper, Mason Helper, Carpenters, Electricians, Plumbers Helper, Demolition Worker  (Must have OSHA 30, 4-hour Scaffold is a plus)
• CDL and Non-CDL Drivers
• Ramp Agents
• Foot Courier
• Warehouse Opportunities

1. Register for online access & log-in to self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/which will allow you to manage your own events.
2. Once you are logged in, Click “View Details.”
3. Click “Opportunity Connect” on the bottom left side.
