HOPE & NYCHA REES are holding a virtual information session on Friday, January 21^st, 2022 at 2pm via Zoom.

Free Virtual 8-hour & 16-hour Security Guard Training!

What Will Participants Gain?

• 7-weeks of free job readiness training, including essential skills, computer skills, OSHA 10, and eight and sixteen-hour security guard certifications.
• Gain access to HOPE’s network of employers who are EAGER to hire HOPE graduates immediately upon completion. Countless employment leads for diverse positions and industries including hospitality, customer service, security, general construction, porter/maintenance, and more!
• Lifelong career coaching and professional development support
• $50 weekly stipend up to $300 total
• Fingerprints, background check, & expedited license processing included!

Minimum requirements:

• At least 18 years old
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Available full-time, Monday – Friday, 9-5, for 7 weeks
• Eager to secure full-time employment
• Please note, mandatory safety guidelines require all potential HOPE participants to be fully vaccinated

1. Register for online access & log-in to self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/which will allow you to manage your own events.
2. Once you are logged in, Click “View Details.”
3. Click “Opportunity Connect” on the bottom left side.
4. Click “Upcoming Events” on the left side.
5. Select “Query.”
6. Go to the “Event Name” column.

8. Press Enter.
9. Click “View Details.“
10. Click “RSVP.“
11. Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Check “My Events” to see all of your scheduled events.
