Interested in breaking into the construction industry or join a union apprenticeship? NYCHA REES is recruiting for an upcoming construction training for Brooklyn residents that will begin in August. The 10-week pre-apprenticeship construction training will provide certifications such as OSHA-30, 10-Hour Site Safety Training, related job readiness instruction, NCCER core construction curriculum, and lab hours to expose trainees to construction projects. Register online or call the REES hotline at (718) 289-8100.

Minimum Application *Requirements:

  1. Must be an authorized NYCHA public housing or Section 8 resident.
  2. Live in New York City with preference to zip codes 11215, 11217, 11231
  3. 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma/GED.
