Interested in a Career in utilities? The Pathways to Industrial & Construction Careers program (PINCC) is hosting career information sessions to recruit NYC residents for training and employment with Con- Edison

 

As a General Utility Worker, you will learn how to maintain and repair the electric, gas, or steam distribution system. Salary starting at $23 per hour, paid vacations and holidays, union benefits, and opportunities for career advancement.

 

In this training program you will receive the following:

  • Test Prep
  • Industry Training
  • Interview Prep
  • Career and Case Management Help
  • Job Placement

 

Minimum Requirements for this training are:

  • Open to all
  • HS Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid and clean driver’s license
  • Ability to perform physical labor & work outdoors Background check and drug testing prior to employment.
  • Applicants must pass all required placement exams.

 

This information session will be held virtually on Zoom, once you register you will receive a zoom link a week prior to the date of the session.
