If you are a resident of Woodside Houses, you’re eligible to receive free tax preparation services and financial literacy programming offered by Jobs-Plus of Woodside, operated by America Works of New York, Inc.

You’re invited to join Jobs-Plus of Woodside and NYCHA REES, in-person or virtually, on Thursday, February 23, 2023, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm to learn more about the free tax preparation and money management resources available to you.

You may choose to join us in-person or virtually. Those who RSVP will be contacted to confirm if they plan to meet us in-person or virtually. If virtually, a virtual meeting link will be emailed to them in advance of the meeting.

Virtual Meeting Option: A virtual meeting link can be provided to Woodside Houses residents who are unable to join the meeting in-person. Please RSVP and ensure that your phone number and email address is up to date in the Self-Service Portal to receive meeting information prior to the event.

How to RSVP:

Follow these steps to register for this event in the NYCHA self-service portal – https://selfserve.nycha.info/

  1. Register for online access & log-in to self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/which will allow you to manage your own events.
  2. Once you are logged in, Click “View Details.”
  3. Click “Opportunity Connect” on the bottom left side.
  4. Click “Upcoming Events”on the left side.
  5. Select “Query.”
  6. Go to the “Event Name” column
  7. Type exactly as shown here (case sensitive):  Free Tax Prep Info Session 2-23-2023 Woodside
  8. Press Enter.
  9. Click “View Details.“
  10. Click “RSVP“
  11. Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Check “My Events” to see all your scheduled events.
