Interested in returning to college? Join the NYCHA REES and City University of New York (CUNY) Reconnect team for an online event!  At the virtual information session, you will learn about the program and how it can support your entry to college with (1) flexible and affordable career pathways (2) outcomes that move you forward (3) assistance to help you succeed and (4) support beyond the classroom such as childcare, veteran, disability, and accessibility services. To be eligible for CUNY Reconnect, you must be a NYC resident, 24 years of age or older, and have some or no college credits. If you would like to attend, please register online via the NYCHA self-service portal or call the REES hotline at 718-289-8100.

Time: Noon to 1 p.m.

Location: Virtual

Follow these steps to register for this event in Opportunity Connect on the NYCHA self-service portal:

  1. Register for online access and/or log in to the NYCHA self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/
  2. Once you are logged in, click on “Manage Your Account.”
  3. Click on the “Opportunity Connect” icon.
  4. Go to “Upcoming Events” on the left menu.
  5. Select CUNY Reconnect March 2026 on the list of upcoming events and click on “view details”.
  6. You must read and confirm the “Information Sharing and Consent Statement” to continue to the final RSVP step.
  7. Click “RSVP”.

Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Note: In Opportunity Connect you can check “My Events” on the left menu at any time to see all your scheduled events. You can also cancel or reschedule.
