The Hub targets community members who are seeking a way out of poverty. The programs and resources offered are designed to serve the area’s diverse population by taking steps such as offering translation assistance in a number of the languages found in the neighborhood. We are making it easier for individuals and families to access and participate in them.

Program available include:

• Job placement assistance
• Training and certification in the medical and culinary fields
• Financial and legal counseling
• Interest-free loans
• Benefits screening and enrollment (SNAP, Medicaid and more)
• ESOL, digital literacy, and high school equivalency classes

Follow these steps to register for this event in the NYCHA self-service portal – https://selfserve.nycha.info/

1. Register for online access & log-in to self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/which will allow you to manage your own events.
2. Once you are logged in, Click “View Details.”
3. Click “Opportunity Connect” on the bottom left side.
4. Click “Upcoming Events” on the left side.
5. Select “Query.”
6. Go to the “Event Name”  Type exactly as shown here (case sensitive):   
7. Press Enter.
8. Click “View Details.“
9. Click “RSVP“
10. Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Check “My Events” to see all of your scheduled events.
