REES, in partnership with Brooklyn Networks, will be hosting an information session on Monday, June 23 for all interested NYCHA residents. Cable Technicians install the lines that run behind walls and ceilings that are hooked up to computers, telephones, security systems, A/V equipment and broadcast cable. 

Brooklyn Networks provides: 

  • Six Week Cable Installation Training – FREE
  • Internationally Recognized Cable Certification 
  • OSHA 10 Safety Certification 
  • Job Placement Assistance 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Be a NYC resident
  • Be 21 years of age or older 
  • Be eligible to work in the U.S. 
  • Qualify as low income and receive public assistance or be unemployed
  • Able to pass a drug test
  • Able to pass testing at an 8th grade math and reading level
