The Bronx Workforce 1 Career Centers are presenting employment & job training opportunities for Bronx NYCHA residents. Workforce 1 provides services that will prepare and connect qualified candidates to employment and training opportunities in New York City.

Candidates who attend this Workforce 1 event will be granted the fast-track privileges to utilize Workforce 1 services and have the opportunity to meet with employers!

Chef’s Warehouse – Picker Packer: Pay is $15/hr.

• Obtain, move, and sort products, materials, containers, and orders, using hand tools.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
• Must have prior Warehouse or Labor Experience

 Maison Kayser- Apprentice: Pay is  $15/hr.

• 6 months experience working in high volume food production packaging items highly desired.
• Early morning, late evening, weekend, and holiday availability required.
• Passion for the food industry

Best Buy: Customer Service Specialist: Pay is  $15/hr.

• Flex as coverage between Checkout, Store Pickup and Customer Service.
• Excellent Customer Service
• 1 year retail experience required

 Bell Staffing – Direct Support Professional (DSP): Pay is $15/hr.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong desire to work with people with developmental disabilities.
• Provide care and assist with personal development and independence of residents.
• Maintain a personalized, homelike atmosphere in residence facility.

SOS Security- Security Guard – Pay is $16 – $22/hr.

• Looking for high end Security Guards.  Must be able to stand for entire shift.
• Up to date 8 & 16 hour certificates
• Valid NYS Security License

Securitas – (Yankee Stadium Security Guard) Pay is $15.00/hr.

• Hiring for Special Event Officer.  This is a seasonal positional.  Must be able to work a 6 -10 hour shift
• Up to date 8 hour/ 16 hour certificate
• Up to date FO3 certificate
• Valid NYS Security License

Madison Security-  Security Guard–Pay is $15.00/hr.

• Hiring for the following shifts:  (4:00PM – 12:00PM) and overnight (12:00AM- 8:00AM)
• These positions are working in commercial, residential and shelter settings
• Up to date 8 hour/ 16 hour certificate
• Valid Up to date NYS Security License
