The Bronx West Farms Workforce 1 Career Center is presenting employment & job training opportunities for NYCHA residents in a virtual job fair.
Workforce 1 provides services that will prepare and connect qualified candidates to employment and training opportunities in New York City.
Candidates who attend this Workforce 1 event will be granted the fast-track privileges to utilize Workforce 1 services and have the opportunity to meet with employers!
Employment Opportunities Include:
- Maintenance
- Security
- GEMS-Everyday Learning Mentor
- Warehouse/Stock Associates
- Retail and Food Service (Customer Service, Cashier)
- Customer Account Representatives

All Attendees Please:
- Email resumes to REESPOSTINGS@nycha.nyc.gov, with the subject line “West Farms Job Fair 8-27-2020”
- Email your resume a week prior and list the positions of interest
- Register online or RSVP using the REES Hotline voicemail service at (718) 289-8100
- Upon registration, a REES staff member will reach out and provide you with further information
Follow these steps to register online for this event in the NYCHA self-service portal – https://selfserve.nycha.info/
- Register for online access & log-in to self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/ which will allow you to manage your own events.
- Once you are logged in, Click “View Details.”
- Click “Opportunity Connect” on the bottom left side.
- Click “Upcoming Events” on the left side.
- Select “Query.”
- Go to the “Event Name” column.
- Type exactly as shown here (case sensitive): West Farms Job Fair 8-27-2020
- Press Enter.
- Click “View Details.“
- Click “RSVP.“
- Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Check “My Events” to see all of your scheduled events.
