New Year, New Business Workshop

If you’re ready to take your first steps to starting your own business, the New Year is HERE and the time is NOW!

In this workshop, the Business Outreach Center Network (BOCNet) will:

• Share information on the different legal structures involved in starting your business.

• Introduce the concepts of income statement, cash flow, and financial projections.

• Highlight important factors to consider in defining operations, services, management, industry research, marketing, and financing strategies.
• Share information on free resources available to entrepreneurs as they develop their business concept and launch their venture.

Follow these steps to register for this event in the NYCHA self-service portal – https://selfserve.nycha.info/

1. Register for online access & log-in to self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/ which will allow you to manage your own events.
2. Once you are logged in, Click “View Details.”
3. Click “Opportunity Connect” on the bottom left side.
4. Click “Upcoming Events” on the left side.
5. Select “Query.”
6. Go to the “Event Name” column.
7. Type exactly as shown here (case sensitive): BOC March 2019
8. Press Enter.
9. Click “View Details.“
10. Click “RSVP.“
11. Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Check “My Events” to see all of your scheduled events.
