Are you interested in earning your High School Equivalency (HSE) Diploma?

           Free HSE Classes

The Borough of Manhattan Community College offers free HSE classes in lower Manhattan!

The BMCC College Prep HSE course prepares students to earn a high school equivalency diploma while honing skills needed to enter and succeed in college and their careers. Our program meets for 12 hours a week in the daytime OR 9 hours a week in the evenings. Classes have limited space, so register now to apply for the Fall cycle! You must be at least 19 years old. An in-person TABE testing session is required.

Flexible Online Class Schedules:

The Spring 2022 GED cycle will run from April 19 to June 24, 2022.

The schedule is as follows:          

Day classes: 3 days a week (Tues, Wed, Thurs) from 9am-1pm

Evening classes:  3 evenings a week (Tues, Wed, Thurs) from 6pm-9pm

 Register for an info and assessment session, where you will take a placement test in reading, writing and math.

Time: Morning Intake Session (for day classes): 10:00am

OR Evening Intake Session (for evening classes): 6:00pm
