Brooklyn Education Opportunity Center (BEOC) is recruiting NYCHA residents for the following programs:

·       High School Equivalency Prep (HSE)

·       OSHA 30 Construction Training

·       Security Officer Training

·       Tourism and Hospitality

And Much More….

 Enrollment Requirements:

·       High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma for Vocational Training Programs

·       Must take TABE test.

·       18 years of age or older

·       NOT a college graduate

·       US citizen, Permanent Resident or Refugee

·       New York State Resident for a year (prior to enrollment)

·       Meet low-income guidelines.

What to expect at the Information Session:

·       Residents interested will be registered for the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) test at the information session.

·       Learn about the application process and eligibility requirements.

·       Review of the document check list

  1. Register for online access and/or log-in to the NYCHA self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/
  2. Once you are logged in, click “Manage Your Account.”
  3. Click “Opportunity Connect”
  4. Go to “Upcoming Events” on the left menu.
  5. Select BEOC 7-9-2025 from the list of upcoming events and click “view details “
  6. You must read and confirm the “Information Sharing and Consent Statement” to continue to the final RSVP step.
  7. Click “RSVP “

Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Note: In Opportunity Connect you can check “My Events” on the left menu at any time to see all your scheduled events. You can also cancel or reschedule.
