Allie’s Place Center for Culinary Education & Employment will host a virtual information session with NYCHA REES to connect NYCHA residents to FREE job trainings and employment assistance in culinary and food services, baking and pastry, and barista services. Register to attend the virtual information session on Wednesday May 28th at 12:00 p.m.

Follow these steps to register for this event in the NYCHA self-service portal – https://selfserve.nycha.info/  

  1. Register for online access and/or log-in to the NYCHA self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/
  2. Once you are logged in, click “Manage Your Account.”
  3. Click “Opportunity Connect” icon.
  4. Go to “Upcoming Events” on the right menu.
  5. Select NAME OF EVENT as shown here (case sensitive): Allie’s Place Info Session 5-28-2025 on the list of upcoming events and click “view details“
  6. You must read and confirm the “Information Sharing and Consent Statement” to continue to the final RSVP step.
  7. Click “RSVP.“

Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Note: In Opportunity Connect you can check “My Events” on the left menu at any time to see all your scheduled events. You can also cancel or reschedule.
