Young Adult Internship Program (YAIP) – Prepare for a Successful Career!

Learn the professional communication skills you need to be successful in the world of employment:

Resume Building – Interviewing Skills – Time Management

Teamwork – Career Planning – Financial Planning

PLAN FOR YOUR FUTURE

As a YAIP intern you will receive:

4 weeks of paid orientation prior to the internship, 10 weeks of paid internship, work readiness training, job counseling.

Offering opportunities to: Secure your GED – Prepare for College Admission – Job Placement Assistance – Financial Aid Education

INTERNSHIP

Earn up to $2,800 while you intern, through our 14 week program, while pursuing the career of your choice!

Current internship offerings include: Retail – Maintenance – Culinary Arts – Office Administration

At the end of the internship you will receive 9 months of assistance in finding and keeping a job or successfully continuing your education and/or training goals.

ELIGIBILITY

YAIP is offered to people ages 16 to 24 who are out of school, not employed, and who do not have a college degree.

You will need to present the following: Photo ID – Proof of age – Proof of Address – Proof of eligibility to work

Submission of an application and the required documentation does not guarantee eligibility for or placement into the program.

  4. Click “Upcoming Events” on the left side.
  5. Select “Query.”
  6. Go to the “Event Name” column.

  8. Press Enter.
  9. Click “View Details.“
  10. Click “RSVP.“
  11. Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Check “My Events” to see all of your scheduled events.
