Newly Renovated Affordable Homes for Sale

Neighborhood Restore (Restoring Urban Neighborhoods, LLC) is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for 23 single-family homes in southeastern Queens and one (1) multi-family home in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn to qualified buyers through the Small Homes Rehab – NYCHA Program.

Benefits Include:

  • Below-Market Rate Purchase Prices
  • 25% NYCHA preference
  • Property Tax Exemption
  • Closing Cost Assistance through HPD if qualify

Program Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be a first-time homebuyer
  • Must meet minimum credit criteria
  • Must occupy the home as a primary residence
  • *Income limits varies by household size, subject to change, and based on purchase price of home

Important Notes:

  • The information session is only for NYCHA public housing residents or NYCHA Section 8 voucher holders (18 and over).
  • Registration for the information session is only per individual (i.e. per NYCHA resident).
  • Additional NYCHA family members (18 and over) are not allowed unless they register individually.
  • No walk-ins allowed.

Registration is Required. Follow these steps to register for this event in the NYCHA self-service portal – https://selfserve.nycha.info/

  1. Register for online access & log-in to self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/ which will allow you to manage your own events.
  2. Once you are logged in, Click “View Details.”
  3. Click “Opportunity Connect” on the bottom left side.
  4. Click “Upcoming Events” on the left side.
  5. Select “Query.”
  6. Go to the “Event Name” column.
  7. Type exactly as shown here (case sensitive): Neighborhood Restore September 2018
  8. Press Enter.
  9. Click “View Details.“
  10. Click “RSVP.“
  11. Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Check “My Events” to see all of your scheduled events.
