Jewish Home Lifecare is recruiting NYCHA residents between the ages of 18 and 24 to their Geriatric Career Development Program which includes:
- Pre-Home Health Aide (HHA) Training at Jewish Home Lifecare
- Hands-on paid internship at Jewish Home Lifecare
- Three week HHA training and HHA certification
- Job placement assistance and transition services following HHA Training
- MetroCards for all participants in the program
- Free lunch
Eligibility Requirements:
- 18 to 24 years of age
- Background check and medical screening
- Desire to help others
- NO High School Diploma or GED required
