Are you new to Web Development but want to make a Career in Coding?

The City is proud to offer the NYC Web Development Fellowship, designed to help New Yorkers start a career in web development. Graduates will be able to create web-based software applications that power services like Twitter, Etsy, Huge and the New York Times.

If admitted, you will:

  • Be part of a class of 28 students, after a competitive application process
  • Get free training from The Flatiron School – normally costs $12,000
  • Attend full-time training for 22 weeks, M-F from 9am to 6pm, in Brooklyn
  • Receive support getting web development jobs paying $65,000+

In order to be eligible, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be a New York City Resident
  • Have never been employed (full-time or part-time) as a web developer
  • Currently earn less than $50,000 a year (or be unemployed)
  • Meet all federal selective service requirements
  • Be authorized to work in the United States
