Are you interested in starting a career in Operations and Maintenance? NYCHA, in partnership with Linden Grove, will be offering recurring training and employment opportunities across several upcoming projects. To support this effort, NYCHA REES is building a pipeline of interested residents to refer to Linden Grove developers as opportunities become available prioritizing those who live in the targeted development(s) for each project. If you are interested in being considered, please register with REES so we can share your information with solar developers in contract with NYCHA when opportunities are available.

Date: Monday & Tuesday, July 20-21, 2026

Time: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Location: Linden Grove 223 Linden Street, Brooklyn, NY 11221

Current Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must attend in-person: 2-Day In Person Course for NYCHA Residents
  • Authorized NYCHA resident
  • Ability to complete one hour exam at the end of Day 2(50 Multiple Choice Questions)

Registration:

Interested participants must register with REES or through self-service portal. Resident information will be shared with the developer and/or training provider for registration and attendance.

Follow these steps to register for this event in Opportunity Connect on the NYCHA self-service portal:

  1. Register for online access and/or log in to the NYCHA self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/
  2. Once you are logged in, click on “Manage Your Account.”
  3. Click on the “Opportunity Connect” icon.
  4. Go to “Upcoming Events” on the left menu.
  5. Select B2P Linden Grove GPRO Training 7.20.26 on the list of upcoming events and click on “view details”.
  6. You must read and confirm the “Information Sharing and Consent Statement” to continue to the final RSVP step.
  7. Click “RSVP”.

Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Note: In Opportunity Connect you can check “My Events” on the left menu at any time to see all your scheduled events. You can also cancel or reschedule.
