Association of Community Employment Programs (ACE) is recruiting NYCHA residents for the following programs:

  •  Interview prep
  •  OSHA Construction Training
  •  CDL Licensing
  •  Custodial Maintenance
  • Computer Training
  • Job Search Assistance

Enrollment Requirements:

  •  Applicants must be able to accept full-time, permanent employment.
  •  Applicants with violent criminal history or no cessation in criminal history will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  •  18 years of age or older
  •   Applicants must have at least 30 days of sobriety.
  •  US citizen, Permanent Resident or Refugee
  •  New York State Resident for a year (prior to enrollment)
  •  Applicants must be available to participate in 4 days per week of morning and afternoon programming.

  •  Learn about the application process and eligibility requirements.

Steps to Register in NYCHA Self Service

Follow these steps to register for this event in the NYCHA self-service portal – https://selfserve.nycha.info/

  1. Register for online access and/or log in to the NYCHA self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/
  2. Once you are logged in, click on “Manage Your Account.”
  3. Click on the “Opportunity Connect” icon.
  4. Go to “Upcoming Events” on the left menu.
  5. Select ACE Information Session 4-28-2026 on the list of upcoming events and click on “view details”
  6. You must read and confirm the “Information Sharing and Consent Statement” to continue to the final RSVP step
  7. Click “RSVP”.

Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Note: In Opportunity Connect you can check “My Events” on the left menu at any time to see all your scheduled events. You can also cancel or reschedule.
