• NYCHA Clean Energy Academy

NYCHA’s Clean Energy Academy is an innovative 280-hour course exclusively for authorized NYCHA residents in public housing or NYCHA Section 8. Participants will earn recognized certifications, such as OSHA-30 and 10-hour site safety, and obtain hands-on training related to construction and the cutting-edge industry of clean energy. NYCHA residents must be 18 years or older with high school diploma or equivalency to apply. Additional application steps are required. 1. Register for online access & log-in to self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/which will allow you to manage your own events.
2. Once you are logged in, Click “View Details.”
3. Click “Opportunity Connect” on the bottom left side.
4. Click “Upcoming Events” on the left side.
5. Select “Query.”
6. Go to the “Event Name” 
7. Type exactly as shown here (case sensitive): NYCHA Clean Energy Academy 2024 04-04-2024 10am
8. Press Enter.
9. Click “View Details.“
10. Click “RSVP“
11. Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Check “My Events” to see all of your scheduled events.
