HOPE & NYCHA REES are holding a HVAC Training virtual information session on Thursday, July 7 at 2 p.m.

Applicants must be at least At least 18 years old & legally eligible to work in the US

Commitment to securing full-time employment

Available full-time, M-F, 9-5, for 13 weeks

Must pass a math and logical reasoning assessment

No high school diploma or equivalency required

All HOPE participants must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19

We are currently recruiting for our Green & Clean HVAC Training Program

  • 13 weeks of essential skills and technical training
  • Preparation for jobs with high-efficiency heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) plus heat pumps, green building operations, and energy efficiency
  • Weekly stipend, up to five industry certifications, and internship opportunities
  • Financial assistance to obtain a driver’s license
  • Learn strategies to succeed in the job market, gain basic math skills and tools for conflict resolution

 

Follow these steps to register for this event in the NYCHA self-service portal – https://selfserve.nycha.info/

1. Register for online access & log-in to self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/ which will allow you to manage your own events.
2. Once you are logged in, Click “View Details.”
3. Click “Opportunity Connect” on the bottom left side.
4. Click “Upcoming Events” on the left side.
5. Select “Query.”
6. Go to the “Event Name” column.
7. Type exactly as shown here (case sensitive): The Hope Program Brooklyn 7-7- 2022
8. Press Enter.
9. Click “View Details.“
10. Click “RSVP.“
11. Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Check “My Events” to see all of your scheduled events.
