 The Upper Manhattan & Washington Heights Workforce 1 Career Centers will be  presenting virtual employment & job training opportunities for NYCHA residents. 

Workforce 1 provides services that will prepare and connect qualified candidates to employment and training opportunities in New York City. 

Candidates who attend this Workforce 1 event will be granted the fast-track privileges to utilize Workforce 1 services and have the opportunity to meet with employers!

Employment Opportunities Include:

• Maintenance
• Security
• Healthcare: CNA, HHA, Social Worker and more
• Warehouse / Stock Associates
• Retail and Food Service (Customer Service, Cashier)

All Attendees Please:

1. Email resumes to REESPOSTINGS@nycha.nyc.gov, with the subject line “Upper Manhattan Job Fair”
2. Email your resume a week prior and list the positions of interest
3. Register online or RSVP using the REES Hotline voicemail service at (718) 289-8100

Follow these steps to register online for this event in the NYCHA self-service portal – https://selfserve.nycha.info/

1. Register for online access & log-in to self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/ which will allow you to manage your own events.
2. Once you are logged in, Click “View Details.”
3. Click “Opportunity Connect” on the bottom left side.
4. Click “Upcoming Events” on the left side.
5. Select “Query.”
6. Go to the “Event Name” column.
7. Type exactly as shown here (case sensitive): Workforce 1 Upper Manhattan 11-30-2021
8. Press Enter.
9. Click “View Details.“
10. Click “RSVP.“
11. Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Check “My Events” to see all of your scheduled events.
