Building an Operational Plan

Learn how to standardize, measure and improve your operation

 

The goal of this course is to help you translate your business concept into an efficient operation that continuously improves and raises your bottom line.

In this course, you will learn about:

• Learn about the value and components of a business operational plan

• Map your business’s processes, resources, and partners using a business model canvas

• Identify your critical processes, and alternative processes for them

• Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and KPI goals for your business

This course is the third module in the NYC Department of Small Business Services’ (SBS) five-course Introduction to Entrepreneurship series. If you are a pre-startup, we recommend that you complete the first and second modules in this series – “First Step to Starting a Business” and “Creating a Business Idea”.

  5. Select “Query.”
  6. Go to the “Event Name” column.

  8. Press Enter.
  9. Click “View Details.“
  10. Click “RSVP.“
  11. Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Check “My Events” to see all of your scheduled events.
