The International Coaching Federation (ICF) NYC Chapter is partnering with NYCHA REES to host a series of workshops titled:

Business Coaching Program

Note: These workshops are only for NYCHA public housing residents or NYCHA Section 8 voucher holders who have a business in the idea, start-up, or operating phase.

ICF will select NYCHA residents who are entrepreneurs or interested in becoming an entrepreneur to participate in their free business coaching program.

Learn more by attending the introductory ICF Business Coaching Workshop on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 6:00pm.

This program is designed to provide a combination of group coaching, 1-on-1 coaching, and will cover the following topics.

  • Goal Setting
  • Business Planning and Strategy
  • Tools and Resources for your business
  • Licenses and Regulations
  • Accounting and Finance 101
  • Marketing and Digital Presence
  • Risk Management Tools to Keep your Dream Alive

Follow these steps to register for this event in the NYCHA self-service portal – https://selfserve.nycha.info/

  1. Register for online access & log-in to self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/ which will allow you to manage your own events.
  2. Once you are logged in, Click “View Details.”
  3. Click “Opportunity Connect” on the bottom left side.
  4. Click “Upcoming Events” on the left side.
  5. Select “Query.”
  6. Go to the “Event Name” column.
  7. Type exactly as shown here (case sensitive): ICF June 2019
  8. Press Enter.
  9. Click “View Details.“
  10. Click “RSVP.“
  11. Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Check “My Events” to see all of your scheduled events.
