    Job Opportunities

New York City Housing Authority’s (NYCHA) Office of Resident Economic Empowerment & Sustainability (REES) can help connect public housing residents to the economic and workforce development opportunities that meet their needs and interests.

REES manages Section 3 employment opportunities for NYCHA. Section 3 employment provide entry points for NYCHA residents to the workforce in particular areas and gain skills that are needed for long-term employment. The job opportunities can range in time-frame and position depending on the work being performed. Qualified NYCHA residents will be referred for Section 3 employment jobs based on criteria described in the Section 3 Employment Information Page. Visit this page for more information about eligibility requirements, and current opportunities.

Beyond Section 3, REES has partnerships with select organizations who are eager to connect NYCHA residents to employment opportunities.  Find organizations in your neighborhood.

For more information about Section 3, or other job opportunities through REES partnerships, call the REES Hotline at (718) 289-8100.
