SHI is partnering with NYCHA’s Office of Resident Economic Empowerment & Sustainability (REES) to provide access to NYCHA residents with over 5,000 task-based training videos covering Microsoft 365 and Windows, offering users on-demand training they can consume at their own pace. Users who register for this training opportunity will receive login credentials within 5 business days to access SHI’s online training portal from any device at any time! Course catalog includes Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and more!

Those who RSVP will receive an email notification with login credentials to access the training portal. Please follow these steps to register on the NYCHA self-service portal:

1. Register for online access & log-in to self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/which will allow you to manage your own events.
2. Once you are logged in, Click “Manage Your Account.”
3. Click “Opportunity Connect” on the bottom left side.
4. Click “Upcoming Events” on the left side.
5. Select “Query.”
6. Go to the “Event Name” 
7. Type exactly as shown here (case sensitive): SHI Microsoft Suite Training Portal- March 2025 Group
8. Press Enter.
9. Click “View Details.“
10. Click “RSVP“
11. Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Check “My Events” to see all your scheduled events.
