Free OSHA 30-SST 10 and Flagger Training for NYCHA residents

Are you a NYCHA resident that is interested in starting or building your construction career? Register to attend a free eleven-day OSHA 30-SST 10 and Flagger training.

Staten Island NYCHA residents are encouraged to apply, and priority will be given to West Brighton residents. The training will be held in Staten Island.

Training Certifications:

OSHA 30 construction certification

10-hour NYC DOB Site Safety Training certification

Flagger certification

Training Times:

Monday, August 19-30th from 9:00am – 1:30pm

(Monday-Friday)

Tuesday, September 3rd, from 9:00am – 1:30pm

Location will be provided to residents via confirmation email.

Requirements:

  • NYCHA residents are encouraged to apply, and priority will be given to West Brighton residents.
  • Valid New York City or State ID.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Able to participate in person.
  • Must commit all eleven days of training to receive certifications.

Please follow these steps to register on the NYCHA self-service portal:

  1. Register for online access & log-in to self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/which will allow you to manage your own events.
  2. Once you are logged in, Click “View Details.”
  3. Click “Opportunity Connect” on the bottom left side.
  4. Click “Upcoming Events” on the left side.
  5. Select “Query.”
  6. Go to the “Event Name” 
  7. Type exactly as shown here (case sensitive):  P2P West Brighton: OSHA 30-SST 10 Training Aug 2024
  8. Press Enter.
  9. Click “View Details.“
  10. Click “RSVP“
  11. Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Check “My Events” to see all your scheduled events.
