The Pathways to Industrial & Construction Career (PINCC) has partnered with the Consortium for Worker Education (CWE) to offer training programs for residents interested in industrial and construction careers. They are currently recruiting individuals for their Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) B Permit program at the Manhattan Educational Opportunity Center (EOC).

Participants will receive instruction from experienced trainers and access job placement services, union pay and benefits, and behind-the-wheel training. A Class B CDL enhances your qualifications as a professional truck driver, opening doors to various career opportunities.

• Dump truck drivers
• Truck drivers
• Bus drivers

Program Requirements:

• Must have a valid Class D Drivers License
• Maximum of 4 points allowed on license
• Clean driving history: No DUI or DWI
• Minimum of 1 years of driving experience

1. Register for online access & log-in to self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/ which will allow you to manage your own events.
2. Once you are logged in, Click “View Details.”
3. Click “Opportunity Connect” on the bottom left side.
4. Click “Upcoming Events” on the left side.
5. Select “Query.”
6. Go to the “Event Name” column.
7. Type exactly as shown here (case sensitive): Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) B Permit Info Session 2-5-2025
8. Press Enter.
9. Click “View Details.“
10. Click “RSVP.“
11. Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Check “My Events” to see all of your scheduled events.
