The Pathways to Industrial & Construction Career (PINCC) partnered with Consortium for Worker education (CWE) have a series of trainings for residents interested in industrial and construction careers. They are currently recruiting for Maritime Deckhand Training at Kingsborough Community College.

Maritime Deckhand Training at Kingsborough Community College, this training is geared towards working for the NYC Ferry service system, a bridge program to job readiness and careers for NYC Ferry system.

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid Class D Driver’s License
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Comfortable with undergoing a comprehensive background check, necessary to achieve a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).
  • Prepared to work on water, even under turbulent conditions.

This information session will be held virtually on Zoom, once you register you will receive a zoom link a week prior to the date of the session.
