Phipps Neighborhood Career Network is actively recruiting for Patient Care Technician (PCT) Program. Earn money while you learn, graduate with PCT certification, hands on training at local hospitals and job placement assistance.

The information session will be held at 550 East 142nd Street Bronx NY 10453 on September 22nd  at 11:00AM. 

 Phipps Neighborhoods is recruiting NYCHA residents between the ages of 18 and 24 who are interested in careers in healthcare including:

  • Patient Care Technician

Enrollment requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED/HSE
  • 18 to 30 years of age
  • Not enrolled in school/related programs
  • Must be a resident of New York City

Follow these steps to register for this event in Opportunity Connect on the NYCHA self-service portal:

  1. Register for online access and/or log in to the NYCHA self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/
  2. Once you are logged in, click on “Manage Your Account.”
  3. Click on the “Opportunity Connect” icon.
  4. Go to “Upcoming Events” on the left menu.
  5. Select Phipps Neighborhood Career Network 9-22-2026 on the list of upcoming events and click on “view details”.
  6. You must read and confirm the “Information Sharing and Consent Statement” to continue to the final RSVP step.
  7. Click “RSVP”.

Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Note: In Opportunity Connect you can check “My Events” on the left menu at any time to see all your scheduled events. You can also cancel or reschedule.
