Free GED & ESOL Orientation – Open to All (Bushwick Area Residents Encouraged)

Take the next step toward advancing your education and career opportunities. Join us for a FREE orientation session introducing GED (High School Equivalency) preparation and ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes designed to help adults build essential skills and expand their employment opportunities.

This session will provide an overview of available programs, enrollment steps, and the support services available to help participants successfully complete their educational goals.

All are welcome to attend, with Bushwick area residents especially encouraged to participate.

  • Must be 18 years or older
  •  Photo ID and proof of address required

1.Register for online access and/or log in to the NYCHA self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/

2. Once you are logged in, click on “Manage Your Account.”

3. Click on the “Opportunity Connect” icon.

4. Go to “Upcoming Events” on the left menu.

5. Select OBT 3-24-2026 on the list of upcoming events and click on “view details”.

6. You must read and confirm the “Information Sharing and Consent Statement” to continue to the final RSVP step.

7. Click “RSVP”.

Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Note: In Opportunity Connect you can check “My Events” on the left menu at any time to see all your scheduled events. You can also cancel or reschedule.
