NYC Service, in partnership with the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH), and NYCHA (New York Housing Authority), will co-manage, train, and recruit a cohort of (NHC) AmeriCorps members.
NHC AmeriCorps members will be responsible for performing public health direct service and capacity-building initiatives.
This opportunity is exclusive to authorized NYCHA residents and NYCHA Section 8 recipients.
MEMBER SERVICE TERM will be 9 months (October 3, 2022 – June 30, 2023).
