Interested in breaking into the construction industry or join a union apprenticeship? NYCHA REES is recruiting for an upcoming construction training for NYCHA residents that will begin in May. This pre-apprenticeship construction training will provide certifications such as OSHA-30, 10-Hour Site Safety Training, related job readiness instruction, NCCER core construction curriculum, and lab hours to expose trainees to construction projects.

 Minimum Application *Requirements:

1. Must be an authorized NYCHA public housing or Section 8 resident.
2. 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma/GED.

Register for online access and/or log-in to the NYCHA self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/

1. Once you are logged in, click “Manage Your Account.”
2. Click “Opportunity Connect” icon.
3. Go to “Upcoming Events” on the left menu.
4. Select NYC SBS/NYCHA REES NRTA Construction Info Session 03.24.26  on the list of upcoming events and click “view details“
5. You must read and confirm the “Information Sharing and Consent Statement” to continue to the final RSVP step.
6. Click “RSVP.“

Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Note: In Opportunity Connect you can check “My Events” on the left menu at any time to see all your scheduled events. You can also cancel or reschedule.
